Carolina is an Educator, Creative Entrepreneur, Movement Director and Actor, that has had the privilege of leading theatre-based workshops and performances that embody social justice in action. A recipient of the HAAS Foundations CreativeWork Fund (2023) and Rainin Foundations New & Experimental Works (NEW) Program (2024-2025) as a lead-artist in collaboration with the San Francisco Shakespeare Festival.
Some of her all time favorite collaborations include: “Ritualistas: Nina Composed,” exploring the African diaspora in the Americas through dance, music and spoken word. Ritualistas was co-produced and directed by Kamilah Long in 2016 at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. In 2020 she was honored to be the Movement Director & Cultural Consultant for Octavio Solis’ Retablos: Life on the Border with Word For Word at ZSpace.
